Safety & limits

Important boundaries so the tool stays useful and responsible.

Do

• Use confirmURL.com to inspect unexpected links before opening them normally
• Look at the final domain, HTTPS lock, spelling, and login forms
• Report clear abuse to support@confirmurl.com

Don’t

• Enter passwords, 2FA codes, wallet seeds, or payment data in the sandbox
• Use the service to attack websites or bypass access controls
• Assume “it loaded” means “it is safe forever”

Technical limits

• Sessions expire quickly (about 30 seconds for interactive mode)
• Private IP ranges and link-local/metadata hosts are blocked
• Some sites detect automation and show captchas or blank pages
• We cannot neutralize every exploit in third-party content

Prohibited content

We do not allow use of the service for child sexual abuse material, malware distribution, violent crime facilitation, or other illegal content. We may log and report abuse.
